The circuit shown in the photo contained in the model can be described in the following way.

A 6 volt supply DC is connected to a fixed resistor and LDR in series.
- Draw a circuit diagram for the above lab set up.
- Use Ohm's law, assuming the supply has negligible internal resistance, to verify the current reading in the model as the LDR resistance is changed. Each time you make a calculation take a copy of the animation window from the model.

Investigate the following using the model. The LDR has a range of resistance controlled by the range of light level in the experiment. For the range of LDR resistance values given find the value of fixed resistance that allows the signal voltage range to be maximised.

Download the self extracting ZIP archive. Locate the file using Windows Explorer and double click. The self extractor will then start. The default installation path is C:\AP Revision. Having set the path press the Unzip button. After the files have been extracted change directory to C:\AP Revision. To start the model double click on sensor.mdl.
