This model explores the text on pages 28 to 34 of the "QED: The Strange Theory of Light and Matter," by RP Feynman, Penguin 1990.

The phasors for two of the many paths are shown as well as the glass block and the resultant final phasor. It is a good idea with this model to run it and then explore the various cases supplied slowly.

|
Use the little control arrows near the 0 and 200 on the control window shown above. This allows you to step through the model at dt time increments.
|
|
Use the model to illustrate the Feynman text so that you could give a PowerPoint presentation on the argument Feynman gives in the six pages quoted.

Instructions:

Download the self extracting ZIP archive. Locate the file using Windows Explorer and double click. The self extractor will then start. The default installation path is C:\AP Revision. Having set the path press the Unzip button. After the files have been extracted change directory to C:\AP Revision. To start the model double click on QED.mdl.
